Hôtel-Dieu de Paris

The buildings of the old Hôtel-Dieu, the hospice founded in the 7C, were replaced around 1880 by the small gardens dominated by the statute of Charlemagne with his inseparable valiant knights, Rolland and Olivier. The present building was built under the Second Empire.
