The Paris City Museum of Modern Art

Recommended
This interesting and accessible modern art museum provides an enlightening overview of the trends in art from the first avant-garde periods of the early 20C through to the contemporary era. Its rich holdings include Fernand Léger, Modigliani, and Soutine, also not to be missed is The Good Fairy Electricity by Raoul Dufy, one of the world's largest paintings (250 panels covering an area of 600m2/1,968ft²). The second half of the 20C is illustrated through the 1960s avant-garde movement, the German art scene and recent acquisitions.
