Quai d'Anjou

This angled embankment lined with beautiful trees is home to several fine mansions: that of the Marquise de Lambert, who held a literary salon here; the Hôtel de Lauzun, at n° 17, built in 1657 and made famous for hosting the "Haschischins Club" founded by Théophile Gautier and Baudelaire; and at n° 9, the house once occupied by the French caricaturist Honoré Daumier.
