Rue Mazarine

This narrow road is bordered with a number of art galleries. At no. 42, the Guénégaud theatre has replace a real tennis court. The ' former Hôtel des Pompes (no 30) was the first fire station in Paris: the company was created in 1722. Molière set up his first theatre at no. 12 and his company moved to no. 42 after his death.
