Château de Breteuil and Park

Recommended
Sited in the Chevreuse Valley, Breteuil (begun in 1580 and enlarged during the 18C-19C) is among the most interesting and charming castles in the Île-de-France. Its story is that of a family whose ancestors were key participants in France's history. Masterful art and architecture, delighful parkland, and for younger visitors, characters from the works of Perrault, including Puss in Boots.
