National Sheepfold

Interesting
Here Louis XVI reared the merino sheep he had purchased from Spain. Today, the sheepfold buildings (built under the Empire) are home to 600 sheep. This educational farm also has 60 milk cows, horses, a pigsty, rabbits and a farmyard. Visit the Musée du Mouton (Sheep Museum) located on the same site: it charts the history of sheep and the shepherding profession since Ancient times, and presents objects used for sheep farming in the past.
