Concluses de Lussan
The waters of the Aiguillon, which dry out in summer, the only time its course may be walked along, clearly had a difficult time carving a passageway through the limestone plateau. The Aiguillon Gorges acquired the name "Concluses" from the Occitan word conclusas meaning bowls or basins. Descend 200m/656ft down to the Portail, where the gorge walls narrow. The site is steeped in silence and untamed beauty.
