Cathedral of Notre Dame and St Castor

Nimes cathedral was built in 1096 and suffered greatly during the Wars of Religion. It was almost entirely rebuilt in the 19C. The pleasant place aux Herbes where the cathedral stands is a good stopping-off point with its many café terraces.
