Porte d'Auguste

The ancient Via Domitia used to lead to Nemausus through the Augustus Gate. Originally flanked by two towers, the gate boasts two wide passages for chariots and two narrower ones for pedestrians, and owes its name to the bronze copy of the statue of Augustus.
