St Martin's Collegiate Church, Brive-la-Gaillarde

Interesting
The transept square of this collegiate (founded in the 12th C) is covered with an octogonal cup on flat Limousin-style pendentives. Lovely historiated capitals and a crypt where the remains of former churches have been stored, including the original building, erected in the 5th C on the tomb of Martin l'Espagnol. This hidalgo had come to preach to the people of Brive, who in turn killed him.
