Porte des Allemands

Interesting
Once part of the old fortifications, the restored Porte des Allemands, whose massive outline dominates the River Seille, now houses an exhibition centre. Two round towers crowned with 13C slate pepperpot-style roofs crown the building on the city side, while two large crenellated towers dating from the 15C face the countryside. The two parts of the building are linked by a gallery.
