Public Museum of Thionville

Here there is a rich Gallo-Roman section and an important collection of lapidaries from the end of the Middle Ages and old 16C and 18C chimney firebacks. Recollection of sieges suffered by this town. It must have been really coveted since it was under siege in 1558, 1639, 1643, 1792, 1814-1815 and 1870.
