Bibliothèque

See the Cosmographiae Introductio, a works printed at Saint-Dié en 1507 by the Vosges Gymnasium and now preserved in the treasury room. It maps out the American continent, named by Christopher Columbus after famed Florentine explorer and navigator Amerigo Vespucci. Visitors can also peruse the Gradus with the miniatures depicting mine works in the Middle Ages.
