Graufesenque Excavations

With an extensive reputation throughout the Roman world, La Graufesenque pottery was exported as far as India. Excavations uncovered the foundations of the village with its main street and canal, the slave quarters and enormous kilns where 40 000 vases could be fired in the same batch!
