Jacobins Museum

The Musee des Jacobins, in a former Jacobin convent, has a large collection of Gallo-Roman archaeology, Precolombian and medieval art (a recumbent statue of Cardinal Jean d'Armagnac), and objects representing South American colonial art (Peru, Chile, Mexico). One section features equipment used by Argentine gauchos. An overview of regional folk art and traditions is on display upstairs.
