Port

Visitors can take a boat trip around the Port-Est (east port) from the bassin du Commerce, taking in the tug base, workshops, locks, textile warehouses, sugar terminal, refinery and oil wharfs and the power station, etc. If you are on foot, visit the 63m-high lighthouse with a panoramic view of the port and, opposite the musée portuaire (port museum), the Duchesse Anne, a three-master, the Sandeville firefighting boat and the Guilde, a barge.
