Porte de Gand

At the far end of Rue de Gand, a street that gets very busy at night, is the Porte de Gand. Built during the Spanish occupation then enlarged by Vauban in 1670, it has lost its decor but is still integrated into the ramparts. This rather austere gatehouse now has a fine dining restaurant upstairs.
