Rue de la Bourse, Lille

The façades along this street, with chubby-cheeked angels and masks decorating the first storey, make up a fine 18C architectural ensemble. At no 8 is a tribute to Louis Blériot, who was from Cambrai and, in 1909, the first man to fly across the English Channel.
