Tourcoing

Tourcoing
The Essential
Tourcoing is of course known for its hospitality, common to northern French towns, and its cloth textile industries. However, that is to ignore the city of today, which has become a highly important artistic hub. Not only does it have an art college, but there is also the Lyric Workshop run by Jean-Claude Malgoire, and the Fresnoy, a leisure complex that has been restructured by architect Bernard Tschumi and is now the National Studio of Contemporary Arts.
