Thomas-Dobrée Archaeological Museum

In this museum, occupying a stunning neo-Romanesque palace built by Viollet-le-Duc, discover the treasures of Thomas Dobrée, the son of a shipowner and a keen collector. The collection includes Greek and Etruscan pottery and Egyptology displays, as well as exhibits covering the period from prehistoric civilisations in the region to the arrival of the Vikings. Temporary exhibitions are often particularly interesting.
