Jules Verne document centre

Although originally from Nantes, Jules Verne (1828-1905) spent much of his life in Amiens, where he wrote his Extraordinary Journeys and was even town councillor. His residence, known as the "House with the Tower", brings together a considerable body of documents about the life and work of the writer.
