Logis du Gouverneur Belvedere

This 16C building next to an old hospital dominates the old town. The uncultivated land around the hospital and its surrounding area are currently under consideration for a project of urban renovation. The belvedere is best visited at the end of the day, when the setting sun casts its light over the tile rooftops and Charente stone of the town, providing a magnificent and poetic sight.
