Rue Saunerie

On returning from the Island of Elba, Napoleon stopped off at Sisteron. On the 5th March 1815 he had lunch there, at the hostellerie du Bras d'Or located at No. 64 of this street. He was apparently concerned that the Royalists would destroy the bridge over the Durance and block his passage. That's how to spoil the appetite of a steely soul.
