Île verte

Interesting
The only wooded island on the Bouches-du-Rhône coastline (hence its name, meaning "green island"). With its many calanques (creeks) framed by sheer cliffs, this 13ha island is a bather's dream. From the small fort that stands on the island you can see the Cap de l'Aigle rock from its best angle. Swimming, fishing, a picnic, or a meal in the restaurant on the island - ideal for a family day out.
