Monastère de St-Paul-de-Mausole

You will see a beautiful square bell tower here decorated with Lombard arches and a cloister endowed with elegant Roman sculptures. The setting was so peaceful, that Vincent Van Gogh confined himself here after his Arles crisis, between the 3rd May 1889 and the 16th May 1890. , a period in which his creativity flourished (a path allows you to follow his favourite walks.) He left this haven of peace for Auvers-sur-Oise
