Galerie des Antiques du musée Calvet

Interesting
Behind the Baroque façade of the Chapelle des Jésuites lies a trove of treasures from the region's past. From the Noves "Tarasque" (a monster from Celtic tradition) to the Gallo-Roman period, superb statues: portraits of emperors or simple folk, bas-reliefs, sarcophagi, masks excavated at Vaison-la-Romaine, Gallic warriors. A fascinating visit for archaeology fans.
