Antibes
The Essential
Recommended
The town, built between two indentations in the coastline, the Anse de la Salis and the Anse St Roch, is opposite Nice on the other side of the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). The little streets of the old town are conducive to strolling around and the call of the cape, with its pleasant coastal path, is irresistible. The area may be one of the main European centres for industrial flower production, but it's also one of the must-see places along the legendary Cote d'Azur.
