Empéri Museum

Recommended
The museum's collections, housed in the Château de l'Empéri, cover the history of the French army from the reign of Louis XIV to 1918. The fine architecture of the rooms offsets the pieces displayed. There are over 10 000 of these, including uniforms, harnesses, flags, decorations, knives, firearms, cannons, paintings, drawings, engravings, and figures on foot and on horseback illustrating this military past.
