La Jaÿsinia Alpine Botanical Garden

This 3.5ha botanical garden was created in 1906 by Mme Cognacq, née Jaÿ Labellis. Designated a "Jardin Remarquable", today it is managed by the National Natural History Museum. The garden stretches out on a steep slope above the village, boasting pools, pathways and waterfalls. Around 2 500 species of wild plants originating in the main mountains of the world's temperate regions are organised by geographical and ecological sectors.
