Hôtel de Lesdiguières

This residence was built for the military commander François de Lesdiguières (1543-1626), who preferred his more luxurious residence in Vizille. The administrative headquarters of the Dauphiné region were based here in the 18C, and the building was Grenoble's city hall until 1967.
