Centre d'histoire de la Résistance et de la Déportation

Interesting
Set up in the buildings of the military medical school, which from 1942 to 1944 was the Lyons base of the Gestapo, this centre recalls the importance of Lyon in the Resistance movement and relevant events such as the Vénissieux roundup and the arrest of Jean Moulin in Caluire (June 1943). The drama of the Deportation and the Shoah is recalled through documents, notices and photos. The cellars, which used to be cells, house temporary exhibitions. You must visit this centre.
