Albertville

Albertville
The Essential
At the crossroads of the Alpine valleys of the Tarentaise, Beaufortain and Val d'Arly, the host city of the 1992 Winter Olympics stands at the gateway to the largest ski areas in France. Stretching up to the foothills of the Bauges massif, the new town meets the Olympic park, while the 18C part has rectilinear streets with Sardinian hues in evidence around the church. Be sure to look up in order to see the lovely medieval city of Conflans on the other side of the Isère.
