Lichenthal Monastery

Founded in 1245, for over 760 years this abbey has provided sanctuary to a community of Cistercian nuns. The monastery's courtyard and church are open to the public. The Princes' Chapel (Fürstenkapelle) is home to the burial places of the Margravine of Baden.
