The Zeppelin Museum in the former maritime station is devoted to the airships developed by Count von Zeppelin (1838-1917). Here visitors can see how a dream of luxury and technical achievement became fact, especially when looking at part of the legendary Hindenberg that exploded in 1937. The museum also exhibits various art works from the Middle Ages to the present day.
