BMW Museum

Recommended
This museum showcases the rich collections of this firm founded in 1916 and specialised in aeroplane motors, then motorcycles (1923) and finally cars (1928). Next to the silver bowl-shaped edifice and the BMW tower, reminiscent of four cylinders, a third futuristic building with a "floating" roof, designed by architects Coop Himmelblau, is home to the "BMW Welt", a multi-purpose exhibition and event centre where customers take delivery of their cars manufactured by the Munich group.
