St Jacob's Church, Regensburg

This church was built in the early 12C for some Irish monks, hence the nickname of the church - the Scottish Church! The Romanesque main portal, is famous for its statues - on the tympan, Christ between St John and St James, and on the upper frieze, Christ and the Apostles between Adam and Eve.
