Camp romain de Saalburg

Established along the «Limes», a fortified line marking the northern limit of the Roman occupation between the Rhine and the Danube, the old Roman camp was reconstructed by order of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The buildings in the central courtyard have been converted into a museum.
