The ground-floor of the Hesse museum is devoted to prehistory. The first floor is home to the German Wallpaper Museum, which includes over 600 items that illustrate the evolution of wallpaper over the 18C-20C. On the second floor are sculpture, porcelain manufactured at Kassel and Fulda and decorative objects from the Middle Ages to the 19C, including Bohemia coloured crystal and Kassel silverware.
