Melanchthonhaus

The house where Luther's disciple, Melanchthon, lived and died. A man of moderate temperament, more tolerant than Luther, the author of the Confession of Augsburg worked for most of his life to reconcile the different factions of the Reformation. His study, and many documents relating to his work, can be seen in the house.
