Fortifications of Bautzen
These well-preserved ramparts encircling the town of Bautzen are medieval in origin. Interspersed with gates and numerous towers, they offer a pleasant overall view of the town. Note, to the north, the ruins of St Nicolas church and the cemetery of the same name.
