Síndagma Square

Interesting
Constitution Square in Athens is dominated by the old royal palace, built for Otto I of Bavaria and which became the parliament in 1935. At the foot of the palace, in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the sentinels of the Guard move like automatons in a fascinating choreography. The famous Hotel Grande Bretagne (1843) housed the Athens French School from 1856 to 1873.
