Zappio

Extending the National Garden, the Zappeion is a park named after K Zappa, a rich Greek of the Alexandria diaspora; in the evenings the park is a popular haunt of Athenians. The palace, a harmonious neo-Classical building (1874-1888), is used for exhibitions.
