Stadium

Interesting
A monumental gateway, put up by Herodes Atticus in the 2C AD, marked the entrance to the stadium at Delphi. Part of the tiered seating, which can hold 6 500 spectators, was directly cut into the rock (north side). The 178m track still has its start and finish lines.
