Mykonos (Chora) The Essential
An all-white city tumbling down to the sea, with its four windmills, an old port with a wealth of café terraces, a maze of little streets full of bars and shops, and small churches secreting lovely icons: it is pleasant to wander about Mykonos, especially in the Alefkandra area, nicknamed Little Venice. This part of the island comes to life in the early evening, the best moment to stroll about the narrow alleys lined with tall houses, some dating from the 18C.
