Museum in the former Medieval Synagogue

This museum is located in the former main street of the Jewish Quarter of Buda where the remains of a synagogue have been discovered, illustrating the presence of a Jewish community as early as the 14C. Two Gothic pillars divide the prayer hall. You can see 17C inscriptions on the walls and some tombstones taken from an ancient Jewish cemetery.
