Latrabjarg Cliffs

Highly recommended
Northwest of Breidafjördur, on the edges of Europe, the gigantic Látrabjarg cliffs (440m high by 14km long) are a favourite spot for bird-watchers. They are home to millions of birds, including the largest razorbill (Alca torda) colony on the planet. In fine weather you can make out the snow-covered summit of Snæfellsjökull, 75km to the south.
