Kerry County Museum
In the Town Park you will come across one of the country's most interesting museums. Using life-size reconstructions, it takes you through the history of Ireland, from the Stone Age to major national events, taking in Celtic culture along the way. The second part of the museum, the "Geraldine Experience", allows you to follow in the footsteps of the Fitzgeralds by means of little cars that lead you through the reconstructed streets of the medieval city, complete with reproduced sounds, lights and even smells!
