Medieval Museum

Interesting
During the construction of the shopping centre, 12 layers of housing, resting on Viking foundations, were discovered. Stones mark the location of St. Peter's Church (12C), earliest example of an apsed church in Ireland. The mural depicts the area in c 1100.
