Basilica of Saint Simplician

Interesting
The basilica of San Simpliciano was built in 385 AD by order of Saint Ambrose, Bishop of Milan. During the 10-11C and later in the 19C, it was remodelled, but has retained the simplicity of early Christian edifices built out of brick. The Coronation of the Virgin on the vault of the apse is by Bergognone (1481-1522).
