Castello del Valentino

Interesting
The daughter of "good King Henry" and Mary of Médicis, Christine of France became the Duchess of Savoy when she married Victor Amadeo I. During the first half of the 17C she had this castle built for herself, pleasantly situated in Parco Valentino on the River Po.
